She is survived by: her husband Howard Ayers; her siblings, Cheryl Tye (Ken), Linda Vatter, Jerry Reed (Sandy), Michael Reed and Patty Haney (Danny); her siblings-in-law, Marion Reed, Joseph Dupre and Johnny Ayers (Marlene); and her siblings' children, Marquita Buchanan Gibbs, Marvin Buchanan (Patty), Melissa Clark (John), Debbie Nally, Randy Gunter (Shirley), Pam Perry (Mike), Danita Weir (Shawn), Angela Johnson (Charlie), Joel Helmburg (Ondria), LeeAnne Stidham (James), Steve Haney (Kelly), Debbie Smith, Kimberly Blevins (Dewey), Danny Haney (Brittany) and Brian Handy. She is also survived by great-great-nieces and nephews, along with extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Ephesus Baptist Church.
