It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula Vermette of Winchester, Kentucky, born in Shelbyville, Indiana, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert E. Wickens, Jr. and Jocelyn Wasson; and her husband Stan Vermette. She is survived by : her son Jimmie Lea (Ashley) of Mt. Sterling, KY; her brothers, Jay Wickens (Karyn) of Powells Point, NC and Jeff Wickens; and her grandchildren, MaKayla Mae Dhondt, Rebecca Noel Lea and Mason Conner Douglas Lea. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
