With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Neel (Winchester, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2025 at the age of 71. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Peggy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Neel; her parents, Joe Wasson and Pearl Smith Wasson; her son Arthur Neel Jr.; and her brother Gary Wasson.
She is survived by: her daughter Alisha Winkler; her grandchildren, Amanda Trent (Justin), Madison Wireman (Russell), Parker Neel and Bentley Estes; and her siblings, BJ Wasson, Arthur Wasson and JoAnn Wasson. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
