She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Douglas Castle; her parents, Austin Riffe and Tillie Elkins Riffe; and her daughters, Dianna Jo Castle and Sandra Karen Ortenzi (Vernon).

She is survived by: her children, Michael Ray Castle (Rebecca) and Debra Hill (Shannon); her grandchildren, Ashley Maxam (JR), Lauren Arbuzow (Stephen), Joseph Michael Castle and Alexandria Guinn; and her great grandchildren, Arabella, Jax, Tillie, Celeste, River, Charlee and Farrah. She is also survived by several extended family members and a host of dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Johnson Memorial Park (163 Johnson Cemetery Rd, Pikeville, KY 41501).
