We announce the death of Randall Townsend (Winchester, Kentucky), who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 87. Randall will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Randall will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Randall’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemon Townsend and Ruby Means Townsend; and his brothers, Donald "Duck" Townsend and Paul Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Beulah Brush Townsend; his children, Larry A. Townsend and Janet Townsend; and his brother Danny Townsend (Marilyn). He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Scobee Funeral Home (219 W Lexington Ave, Winchester, KY 40391). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
