He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James Orth Gilliland and Mildred Keith Gilliland of Herington; Ayn Marie Gilliland of Topeka, Kansas.. He is survived by: his wife Debra Gilliland of Winchester, Kentucky; his son James Robert Gilliland (Katie); his grandchildren, Sara, Riley and Andrew of Charlotte; his children, David Lee Aldridge (Kristy) and Stacy Aldridge Wilhold (JR); and his grandchildren, Lauren Grigsby (Ryan), Keaton Aldridge (Maddie), Karlee Thomas (Ethan) and Lynnlee Aldridge. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel (219 W Lexington Ave, Winchester, KY 40391). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
