He was predeceased by: his father John Carrington; and his siblings, Sue Dryden, John Thomas and Dan Carrington. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Christopher Carrington; his daughter Paula Rogers (Mike); his grandson Benton Rogers; his siblings, Ann Bishop, Debbie Jones, Gene Carrington (Phyllis), James "Doc" Carrington (Doris) and Larry Carrington; and his close friends, Gary and Kathy Plowman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
