He was predeceased by : his parents, Garland Cecil and Anna Johnson Brookshire. He is survived by : his wife Sherry Spears Brookshire; his sons, Jonathon Brookshire of Lexington, Michael Brookshire (Christa) of Illinois, Mark Brookshire (Ashley) of Paris and Eddie Brookshire; and his siblings, Vivian Williams, Mamie Hall, Sue Noble and Garland Brookshire. He is also survived by six grandsons, two granddaughters, one great grandson.
