She was predeceased by : her husband Carlos Wayne Smith; her parents, Isaac Stout and Helen Oxley Stout; her children, Carlos Wayne Smith (Kimberly) and Diana Lynn Hasenour; and her brothers, Joseph W. Stout and Thomas J. Stout.

She is survived by : her grandson Isaac J. Smith; her siblings, Isaac Stout (Rebecca), Jesse Stout (Miriam), Marvin Stout (Connie), Rachel Rogers (Joseph) and James Stout (Brenda); and her sisters-in-law, Susie Stout, Cynthia Stout, Judy Smith and Irma Smith.
