She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Eads Mastin of Mt. Sterling, KY and Harold Swartz of Olympia, KY.; her grandmother Freddie; and her sons, Alan Clayton (Linda), Arthur "Bubby" Clayton (June), Robert "Tony" Clayton (Theresa) and John Irvin Clayton.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Clayton (Janice) and Steve Clayton (Denise); and her grandchildren, Candace Minnich (Brian), Angela Martin (Charles), Christopher Clayton (Dawn), Alexander Clayton (Christy), Patrick Clayton (Sara), Toni Clayton (Heath), Dillon Clayton (Kyssa), Jeremy Clayton (Marilyn), Austin Clayton and Lindsey Yeary (Justin). She is also survived by great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals (1002 Woodford Dr, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
