We announce the death of Susie Brown of Wingo, Kentucky, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 75. Susie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Brown; her daughter-in-law Misty Brown; her brother-in-law Bobby Brown; and her parents, Lowell Smithey and Evon Dickson Smithey.
She is survived by: her sons, Jamie Brown (Angie) of College Station, TX, Micah Brown of Mayfield, KY and Sam Brown (Brittany) of Mayfield, KY; her sister Sandi Ross of Berwyn, IL; her grandchildren, Noah Brown, Isaac Brown, Ellie Mitchell-Brown, Izzie Brown, Jonah Brown and Jack Brown; her sister-in-law Shelia O. Brown of Paducah, KY; and her pets, Gunner, Gretel and Skeeter. She is also survived by Nieces & Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home - Mayfield (1223 W Broadway, Mayfield, KY 42066).
