He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Tye and Cordia Tye; his wife Wanda Faye Tye; and his siblings, Eva Sue Harp, Anita Logan and Paul Tye.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Sutton (Kenneth) of Corbin; his granddaughter Christina Crager (Ben) of Proctorville, OH; his great grandchildren, Kai Crager, Luna Crager, Payton Tye, Judd Bunch, Emery Bunch, Luke Trett, Hadley Trett, Easton Harp, Beau Harp and Nico Harp; his siblings, Betty Lou Steely, Barbara Brock, Brenda Arnold, Elza Tye and Kenneth Tye; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Patterson and Bill Patterson.
