She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Earl and Agnes Williamson Young; her brother John Young; and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Scrogham, Bufford Parson, David Parson, Keith Parson and Kevin Parson.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Gene Parson; her siblings, Linda Prouty, Brenda Brewer, David Young and James "Eddie" Young; and her siblings-in-law, Brenda Moore, Betty Lyons and Beverly Hornback. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home (706 W Jefferson St, La Grange, KY 40031). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at the Floydsburg Cemetery (5600 Old Floydsburg Rd, Crestwood, KY 40014).
