She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Wilson and Zetta Sturgill Stephenson; her husband Nathan Curtis Brown; her siblings, Herbert Wayne Stephenson, Roger Underwood, Shirley Jean Hill, Bonnie Fierro and Ethel Ward; her son Mark Anthony Brown; her grandson Shannon Michael Brown; and her great grandchildren, Tala and Hannah Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Curtis Brown (Jody) of Bessemer City, Randall Keith Brown (Dinah) of Bullhead City, Gregory Allen Brown (Greta) of Versailles, Kentucky and Peggy Hicks of Wurtland, Kentucky; her siblings, Joe Stephenson of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Larry Stephenson (Sally) of Wurtland, Kentucky and Lois Sizemore of Wurtland, Kentucky; and her daughter-in-law Janice Fisher Brown Townsend. She is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews.
