We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2022, at the age of 73, James Claxon of Wurtland, Kentucky, born in Ashland, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Claxon and Thelma Riffe Claxon. He is survived by : his wife Bessie L. Gullett Claxon; his daughter Laura Letitia Claxon of Wurtland; his siblings, Charles Ray Claxon (Brenda) of Grayson, Debbie Vanbibber (Maurice) of South Shore, Linda Hunt (Steve) of South Shore and Margaret Smallwood (Richard) of Greenup; and his brother-in-law Bill Gullett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
