With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Belva Sonnier Vincent of Abbeville, Louisiana, who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence "C. T." Vincent; her parents, Ursin Sonnier and Edith Sonnier; and her sister Irna Dell Sonnier. She is survived by: her brother Roger Sonnier (Sandra); her sisters-in-law, Rena Andrus and Rose Vincent; her nephews, Shannon Sonnier (Karen) and Brandon Sonnier (Natalie); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dr. Rhett Sonnier (Lauren), Seth, Emma, Meredith, Molly and Mya Sonnier.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Frioux-David Funeral Home of Abbeville (2600 Charity St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (101 N Leonard Ave, Abbeville, LA 70510). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Saint Anne Cemetery (201 Church St, Youngsville, LA 70592).
