She was predeceased by : her husband Hubert Bessard, Sr.; her parents, Harry Coleman, Sr. and Gladys Francis Coleman; her brothers, Harry Coleman, Jr. and Charles Coleman; her stepsons, Darryl Bessard and Crawford Bessard; and her great-niece Victoria Joiner Briggs.
She is survived by : her stepchildren, Hubert Bessard, III (Nita) of Abbeville, LA, Terry Bessard, Sr. (Lorraine) of Abbeville, LA, Brad Landry of Abbeville, LA, Stephanie Kelly, Huberta Nolan of Houston, TX, Mary Adams (Clavern), Sherry Bessard and Pattie Batiste (Kenny) of Abbeville, LA; her sisters, Gladys Coleman Briggs of Abbeville, LA, Hattie Coleman of Abbeville, LA, Carolyn Coleman of Abbeville, LA and Audrey Coleman of Abbeville, LA; her godchildren, Lynette Williams Rakylah Lopez, Jamilah Brown of Abbeville, LA and Altamic Conner; her sisters-in-law, Mary Thompson of Abbeville, LA and Rose Nunez; her nephew Karlon Coleman, Sr.; and her niece Kim Shelvin. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
