With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John W. Bergeron of Abbeville, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy J. Bergeron and Anite Broussard Bergeron; and his brother Donald Bergeron. He is survived by: his children, Richard Bergeron of Oklahoma, Roxanne B. Broussard (Steve) of Erath and Robert Bergeron (Cathy) of Abbeville; his grandchildren, Nicholas Faciane, Nicole Faciane, Marsha F. Lemaire (Jacob) of Heidi's B. Istre, Jake B. Dugas (Scott) and Dansi Broussard; his great grandchildren, Logan Lemaire, Landon Lemaire, Caroline Lemaire, Shealyn Istre, Bradyn Istre, Camryn Istre and Tristyn Istre; and his sister Betty B. Drovandi (Alan) of Australia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to St. Agnes nursing home, and especially to his nurse Deanna in the Alzheimer's unit for the care and compassion they offered to him in his time of need.
