He was predeceased by : his parents, Gladu Conner and Lillie Dubois Conner; his children, Sharon Raye and David Bryan; and his brother Golden Conner.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Rost Conner; his son Kelly Brent Conner (Daphne); his grandchildren, Raechelle Halloran (Kayne), Madalyn Dufour (Levi) and Zachary Conner; his siblings, Dalton Conner (Elnora) of Shreveport, Delores Harrington and Pearl Broussard; and his sister-in-law Pat Conner of New Zealand. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
