She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilton Toups and Lorena Toups; her siblings, Ronald Toups, Dalton Toups and Dorothy Pere; and her great great grandchild Finn Jude Breaux.
She is survived by: her brother Mickey Toups; her children, Martha Choate (David), Renee Choate (Terry), George Choate (Linda) and John Choate (Brenda); and her grandchildren, Shannon Feehery (Matthew), Angelina Hebert (Ryan), Toby Choate (Casey), Tara Meaux (Tylan), Paige D'Agostino (Paul), Taylor Gaspard (Ian), Libbee Choate, Zachary Choate, Layla Choate, Dustin Picard and Eric Picard. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church (101 N Leonard Ave, Abbeville, LA 70510).
