He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Landry Denais; his parents, John Denais and Rena Trahan Denais; his siblings, Dorothy Landry, Virgie Domingue and Lee Denais; his brothers-in-law, J. C. Landry and O. J. Domingue; his nephews, Tommy Denais and David Denais; and his niece Patricia Landry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Sasser (John) and Ruth LeGros (Tony); his grandchildren, Brooke LeGros and Allison Meaux (Brett); his great grandchild Cecilia Grace Meaux; his brother Dale Denais (Mary); and his sister-in-law Margaret Denais (Lee). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
