He was predeceased by: his son Tommy Leger; and his parents, Nedley Leger, Sr. and Eunice Trahan. He is survived by: his wife Clara Harrington Leger; his children, Todd Leger (Shannon) and Kim Ellender (Andrew); his grandchildren, Gavin LeMaire and Isabel Ellender; and his stepgranddaughters, Christena Ellender and Kiersten Ellender.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Paul Cemetery (505 Jacqulyn St, Abbeville, LA 70510).
