He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Bordelon Donohue; his daughters, Megan Donohue Breaux (Matthew) and Colleen Donohue Foreman (Khristopher); his grandchildren, Claire Elise Breaux, James Andrew Breaux and Willow Marie Foreman; and his siblings, Elizabeth Gary, Patricia McIntyre, John P. Donohue, Jr. (Lory), Daniel Donohue (Kristi), James Donohue, Sr. (Susan) and Lise Kuhn (Allen).
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:15 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (300 Pere Megret St, Abbeville, LA 70510).
