He is survived by: his wife Shirley Duplantis Choate; his children, Consuela Broussard, April Renee Suire and Dayna Bodin (Chad); his stepchildren, Nanette Guidry (Shane), Jill Bourque (Michael) and Rodney "Bubba" Dubois Jr. (Carla); his grandchildren, Jared Broussard, Collin Broussard, Nick Suire, Emily Suire, Caleb Suire, Chloe Savoy, Ava Domingue, Ashton Romero and Carter Bodin; his stepgrandchildren, Devan Guidry, Noah Dubois, Grant Bourque, Lanie Dubois and Landon Dubois; his great grandchild Emberlynn Guidry; and his sister Phyllis Luna.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
