He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Weston, Zelia Hebert, Loray and Genevieve Sonnier; and his uncles, Bruce Hebert and Victor Hebert.

He is survived by : his son Samuel Cole; his parents, James J. Sonnier and Christine Brundle; his siblings, Shawn M. Sonnier (Trisha) and Summer A. Saunier (Lonnie); and his girlfriend Monica.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you plant a tree in memory of Shane Michael Sonnier.
