She was predeceased by : her father Jimmy David Spurgeon; and her grandparents, Getsia, Buddy Spurgeon and Maria. She is survived by : her close friend Jerome Hodge of Forked Island; her stepdaughter Jerrica Hodge Hale (Josh); her stepgranddaughter Brailey Hale of Lake Charles; her mother Grettle Saltzman of Gueydan; her siblings, Roslyn Vallo Bergeron (Marcel) of Lafayette, Melissa Vallo Hargrave (Ricky) of Gueydan, Chad Vallo (Maureen) of Gueydan and Jerald James Saltzman of Gueydan; and her godchildren, Sleighton "Brud" Hebert (Kendalyn) of Gueydan and Colby McDaniel of Gueydan. She is also survived by ten nieces and nephews, eighteen great nieces and nephews and ten great-great nieces and nephews.
