He was predeceased by: his parents, Boniface "Black" Lege and Amelian Gaspard; his siblings, Goldie Blasingame, Ruby Hebert, Helen Hebert and Harold Lege of Dudley Lege, B. J.; and his son-in-law Patrick Davidson.
He is survived by: his wife Opal "Gayle" Lege; his children, Laurinda Calongne (Dan) of Destin, Florida, Donella Davidson Miller (Gary) of Aledo, Texas, Janessa Dubois of Scott and Brandon Lege (Marcy) of Abbeville; his stepchildren, Lea Dautreuil (Herman, Jr.), Breaux Bridge, Vince Viator of Kaplan, Lori Dubois of Duson and Leslie Greene Varney of Hockley, TX; and his siblings, Joyce Gaspard (Nelton) of Kaplan and Pervis Lege (Dorothy) of Nunez. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
