He is survived by : his wife Gertie Renard Deitz; his children, Dayton Deitz (Deidra) of New Iberia and Chris Lege (Brud) of Kaplan; his grandchildren, Tristie Granger, Blaise Lege, Rylan Deitz and Caroline Deitz; and his siblings, Evaline Regan of Iota and Joseph Lee Dietz (Hilda) of Iota.
