It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ida Langston in Abita Springs, Louisiana, born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, who passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Michael Clarence Langston (Constance) and Gail Lynn Langston (Owen McMullen); her sibling Thomas Arthur Long; her husband JB Langston; her son Dale Edward Langston; her parents, Clifton Long and Mary Long; and her siblings, John Russell Long, Bob Long, Bill Long, Alma Henry, Vera Coleman and Elsie. She was also cherished by six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 5520 MS-43, Carriere, MS 39426. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Henleyfield (5715 Mississippi 43 N, Carriere, MS 39426).
