He was predeceased by: his wife Rosa Marina Marin Bishop; and his parents, Hines Bishop and Ruby Polk Bishop. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Bishop of Lake Charles, LA and Jean Sullivan (Peter Daily) of Scott, LA; his grandchildren, Valeska Nichole Menard, Ryan Lee Matthieu, Mason Taylor Matthieu and Peyton Daniel Chopp; his great grandchildren, Bryant Shane Fontenot and Samantha Lynn Jones (Tyler); and his great great grandchild Annalee Eve Rosa Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
