We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2022, at the age of 85, Ruth Barzare of Acadiana, Louisiana, born in Lafayette, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Theo Cormier and Gussie Doucet Cormier; and her sister Hazel Trahan. She is survived by : her husband Preston Joseph Barzare of Lafayette, LA; and her children, Rickey Romero (Marie-Anne Morrissette) of Vinton, LA, Darlene Hover (Charles) of Enterprise, AL, Wanda Gerard (Robert) of Scott, LA and Jo-Ann Arcement (Kent) of Houston, TX. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and dear nieces, nephews, and friends.
