He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Lee Kinchen; his parents, Melvin Kinchen and Maggie Kinchen; and his siblings, Calvin (Jane Severio) and Lucille (Glen Galloway).
He is survived by: his children, Lynn (Randy McCullen) and Melton Kinchen, Jr.; his grandchild Kyle (Taylor Canida); and his great grandchildren, Ramsay Canida and Landry Canida.
