He is survived by: his wife Lena Deville Smith; his children, Donna Smith Bennett (Skipper), Joetta Smith Zieske (Gus) and Samuel Menard Smith; and his grandchildren, Jason Guillory (Mary), Kevin Guillory (Deborah), Marley Stilley (Mike), Donetta Johnson (Brett), Sunny Raiford (Cody) and Jonah Zieske (Raegan). He is also survived by great grandchildren; and one (1) great great-grandchild; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
