With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Lawson McGee of Alexandria, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth McGee; her parents, Reverend Paul J. Lawson and Mary Lena Antee Lawson; her siblings, JD Lawson, Nerry Lawson, Jean Himel, Fern Walley, Dianne Gauthier and Sue Morris; and her brothers-in-law, Ray Himel and Donald Walley.
She is survived by: her son Kent McGee (Dana) of Pollock; her grandchildren, Kyle McGee (Emily) and Mikayla Crawford (Riley); her great grandchildren, Gavin McCarty, Euri McCarty, Ellie McGee, Kendal McGee, Elizabeth Crawford and Emmaline Crawford; and her siblings, Wayne Lawson, Tim Lawson (Sherry), Debbie Walley and Faye Bergen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the G. A. Mangun Center (2817 Rapides Ave, Alexandria, LA 71301). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
