He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Michael and Carrie Mahfouz Michael. He is survived by: his cousin Very (V. G.); his wife Marie Shaheen Michael of Alexandria; and his cousin Rev. Michael Craig Scott of Alexandria. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
