He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Langston Marshall of Woodworth; his parents, William Harlan Marshall and Hazel Taylor Marshall Powell; his son Robert Marshall (Bobby); his siblings, Russell Marshall, Bill Marshall, Mike Johnson, Brenda Hedges and Jack Powell; and his grandchildren, Katie Anna Marshall and Kandace Noel Marshall.

He is survived by: his children, Janet Marshall Bogard (Frank), George Marshall (Polly) and Cynthia Marshall Bell (Michael); his siblings, Zerelda Nekonecky and Mike Powell; and his daughter-in-law Tammy Marshall. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great, great grandchild, and numerous other family and friends.
