She was predeceased by: her husband John Cowan; her siblings, Polly Cowan and Harold "Sonny" Meadows; and her mother Neva Hill Meadows. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Cowan (Gayle) and Deborah Hollis (Gary); her grandchildren, LeAnne Whatley, John Cowan, Amanda Elizabeth Cowan, Brandon Hollis and Garret Hollis; her great grandchildren, Ashlee, John Austin, Peyton, Ryan, Landon, Ellie, Jacob, Tristan, Harrison, Anniston, Tate, Flynn, Mitchell, Alexandra, Leo and Olivia; her great great grandchildren, Brody, Caroline, Briar, Ivey, Riley and J. J.; and her sisters, Jan Cowan (Earl) and Joy Barham (Mark).
