He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Balthazar; his children, James Balthazar (Sharon), Tamara of Washington, Louis (Starleana) of Washington, Christina (Darcelle) of Washington, Lori of Alexandria and Regina Bennett (Emerson) of Baton Rouge; his siblings, Danny (Delores) of Austin, Dave, Jr. (Sue) of Atlanta, Ronald, Sr. (Pam) of Alexandria, Ollie of Alexandria, Betty of Alexandria, Mary of Alexandria and Jaqueline of Alexandria; his uncles, Arthur, Sr. of Washington and Layton Hebert of Alexandria; and his siblings-in-law, George Alexander of New Orleans, Charles, Alfred James, Marjorie of Alexandria and Louise James of Alexandria. He is also survived by his children, twenty-one grandchildren, and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
