He was predeceased by: his grandfather Jesse Arthur Lott of Marion County, MS; his parents, Jack Lott, Sr. and Hazel G. Graham Lott of Tallulah, LA; and his brother Thomas "Tommy" Arthur Lott of Baton Rouge, LA.. He is survived by: his children, Jason D. Lott, Cherish Lyn Lott Sanchez of Monroe and Samantha Ty Urrata of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Madison and Kalynn; his sister Jeanie Lott Goodman (Jim) of Alexandria, LA; his niece Jacqueline Suzanne Burgess Greer; and his grandson Karson Sanchez.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in honor of his grandson, Karson Sanchez who is a childhood cancer survivor.
