He was predeceased by: his daughter Ami Hurst; his parents, Robert Hurst and Frances Woodhouse Hurst; and his sister Teri Hurst Craven. He is survived by: his wife Frances Hurst; his son Ben Hurst; his daughter-in-law Julia; his stepgrandchild Aubrey Waldrop; his siblings, Sharon Hungerford and David Hurst; and his sister-in-law Cindy.
