It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry B. Rachal of Alexandria, Louisiana, born in Provencal, Louisiana, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, JB Rachal and Mabel Rachal; and his former wife Bernadine Rachal. He is survived by: his wife Anne Lanius; his children, Christi Greene (Richard), Mickey Rachal (Linda), Suzy Armstrong (late Skip Armstrong), Ronny Rachal (Julie), Amy Gremillion (Marcus) and Danny Rachal (Tammy); the mother of his children Anne Edgerton; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Josh, Gabriel, Kaitlin Greene, Michael, Daniel Rachal, Laurie Crooks, Aaron, Allie Armstrong, Haley Hill, Emily Loudin, Maddie, Adalynn and Avery Rachal; his sister Alice Regan (Pat); and his stepsons, Paul and Neil Dauzat. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
