He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Berry (Betty) and Sherry Allen LaPrarie (Calvis Sr.); his brother-in-law Elton Ebey; his stepbrother Andrew Dewayne Wactor; and his uncle Timothy Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Brittany Losavio (Andreas) of Alexandria and Anthony Winget (Kristen) of Deville; his grandchildren, Reed and Sara Winget; his siblings, Calvis LaPrarie, Jr. (Charlotte) of Pineville, Dixie Burlew (Donald) of Deville, Robin Garnett of Deville and Ginny Ebey of Centerpoint; his stepsiblings, Sharon Smith of Texas, Cindy Castle (James) of Texas and Mack Barton (Tina) of Texas; his uncle Richard Allen of Pineville; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gallagher Funeral Home (3994 Monroe Hwy, Ball, LA 71405). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
