He was predeceased by: his son Kent Griffith; his parents, Dudley I. Griffith and Anna Holden Griffith; and his siblings, Bobbie Chauvin, Earl Griffith and Cody Griffith.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Daniels Griffith; his stepsons, Frederick Smith and Gregory Smith; and his grandchildren, Trulee Nowlin, Lacee White (Ben), Sasha Delaney, Chelsea Butler Brown, Regan Miller (Turner), McKenzie LaCostee (Gage), Leslie Griffith and John Roy Griffith. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson; and a host of other family members and friends.
