Rayetta Thompson wrote a sympathy message

“Steve, we are sad to hear about your dad, he was a good friend and long time mentor and a man who contributed to many individuals. He was also a man who demonstrated and shared his faith to everyone he came in contact with. He will be greatly missed but will be remembered for his philanthropic works and business contributions to central louisiana. We are visiting our daughter in australia and can’t attend the memorial but will be praying for your family. Monroe &rayetta thompson”
