With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce LaCaze (Alexandria, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bordelon and Mary Bordelon; her husband Joseph LaCaze; her daughter Mary Lynn Lacaze Craig; her granddaughter Laken Vercher; her son-in-law Al Nunnally; and her siblings, Joseph Bordelon, Charles Bordelon, Curly Bordelon, Evelyn Cedus, Beaulah St. Andrie, Rose Dauzat and Chris Bordelon.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Nunnally (Randy Ryland); her grandchildren, Jeremy Nunnally (Ashley), John Nunnally (Pam), Candy Bouchie (Luke) and Kevin Craig, Jr.; and her sister Tula LaCaze. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home (701 Jackson St, Alexandria, LA 71301). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Hixson Bro. (701 Jackson St, Alexandria, LA 71301).
