He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Butts, Arthur Butts, Wanda Huse, Mary Birdsey, Ruby Poole, Milton Butts, Harley Butts, Timothy Butts and Ollie Mae Sharp; his parents, Hollie Butts and Leeonia Butts; and his son Michael Butts.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Brasher, Tony Butts and Brandon Butts; and his sister Joyce Bogard. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
