He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian Curnutt Risley and Robert Carl Risley; and his stepfather Melvin Q. Bolton. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gillis Risley; his daughters, Leslie Risley Surber (Shawn) of Hattiesburg, Jennifer Risley of Dallas and Jessica Risley of Alexandria, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Brooks Surber, Brody Surber and Ryan Paige Surber; and his siblings, Alice Corley, Phyllis Vangessel (Dave), Lorrie Valenciano (Marcos), Lizzie Nevill (Scott) and Robert Bolton (Diana). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
