It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitchell Gene Aswell (Alexandria, Louisiana), born in Ferriday, Louisiana, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jack Shelton Aswell, Shirley D. Harris of Monterey, Louisiana and James Adams of Texas; and his uncle Curt Adams of Jonesville, Louisiana.. He is survived by: his daughter Mia Kate "The Boss" Aswell; the father of his child Mikel Aswell; his fiancée Jenny Eames; his daughters, Caroline and Emalyn Hestle; his parents, Bobbie Aswell and Ricky Butts; his siblings, Alisa Domangue (Gary), Paige Aswell, Brandon Morgan (Kristy) and Dakota Butts; his grandmother Debbie Adams; his aunts, Cindy Boyette (Jeff), Melissa Harris (Charlie), Stephanie Tarver (Don), MawMaw and Trissie Pennington; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, friends.
