She is survived by: her children, Karen Sue Hall (Danny) of Bastrop, Virginia "Ginny" Rominger (Robert Butler) of Alexandria, Margo Johnson (Rick Trichel) of Hebert, Amanda Silmon (Tony) of Collinston and Ronnie Laurent (Joy) of Montgomery, Louisiana; her foster children, Brenda Odom and Mike Odom; her close friend James; her grandsons, Kevin Nelson, Raymond "Cooter" DeSoto, Jr., Robert Jackson, Jathan "Buddy" Garner, Steven Setliff and Dustin Silmon; and her great grandchildren, Jathan Johnson, Logan Bordelon, Trevor Garner, Dalton Phillips, Lane Hamberlin, Jarred DeSoto, Landon Delatte, Lester Blood Jr. and Randy Blood.
