He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Allen and Mada Vera Cockrell; the mother of his children Iletha Cockrell; his daughter Tonya Pender; and his siblings, Bill Cockrell and Lou O'Brien.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robyn Davison and Angie Blaylock (Phillip Fleming); his granddaughters, Kristy Malone (Lee), Leighann Ludolph, Courtney Cothern (Steve) and Nonnie Cook (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Harley Grimes III (Hannah Beth), Justin Day (Trinity), Lane Goleman, Riley Cain (Callie), Will Griffin, Gracie Griffin, Luke Cothern, Raysen Cook and Raylan Cook; his great great grandchildren, Bud, Gator, Brees, Parker Riley and Colston; his sister-in-law Judy Adamson (Norris); his girlfriend Cecilia Hailey of Jena, LA; and his girlfriend's children, Chrissa and Sherie.
